Who we are

Oxford Photomarathon is a not-for-profit community-based arts photography event.

This website is managed by the Oxford Photomarathon Group, who can be contacted at info@oxfordphotomarathon.com.

The organisers arranging the event receive no payment and their time is voluntary. The event has on-going running costs including domain registration, website hosting, image hosting, and communications hosting including SMS and email newsletter hosting. We intend the event to run annually, and the website and image hosting will be supported while funds remain.

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

Our online digital presence, and use of images

Oxford Photomarathon Group maintain the website oxfordphotomarathon.com, and have a social media presence on Facebook & Instagram. We also maintain an on-line image repository, hosted on SmugMug.

Images submitted by participants during the competition remain the property and copyright of the person taking them, however, by submitting them to Oxford Photomarathon on any platform, you grant us free licence to use your images on our digital platforms for, but not exclusively for, marketing, publicity, and for community enjoyment unless specifically requested not to.

Your images may be included in printed publications including the exhibition panels and the Oxford Photomarathon Event Book, with attribution.

Refunds

Should the event be cancelled (not postponed) a full refund of your ticket price will be issued. We accept no liability for consequential loss resulting from cancellation or postponement, including but not limited to hotel booking, travel bookings, equipment rentals.

Tickets are transferable, so if you find you cannot make the event, please give your ticket to a friend and send their details to  info@oxfordphotomarathon.com so we can update the associated contact details, and we will contact them to confirm.
